These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vakya app. By using Vakya, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Using Vakya

Vakya provides daily verses and wisdom from the Bhagavad Gita and related scriptures for personal, devotional, and educational use. You agree to use the app lawfully and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it or its systems.

Your account

You sign in using Google. You are responsible for the activity on your account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account, which permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Content

Scripture text and translations are presented for devotional and educational purposes. The app's design, branding, and original content are owned by Vakya and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.

Subscriptions and payments

Vakya may offer optional paid features or subscriptions. Where purchases are made through the Google Play Store, they are subject to Google's terms and billing. Any pricing shown in the app is subject to change. Renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled per the platform's policies.

Notifications

With your permission, Vakya sends notifications such as your daily verse and occasional announcements. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device or app settings.

Disclaimer

Vakya is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Spiritual and scriptural content is offered for reflection and is not a substitute for professional, medical, or legal advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vakya and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
